I'm also doing both door handles, the moon piece, the driver/passenger window switch panels, and outdoor mirrors...

The VX sales brocheurs (SP?) indicated that's why they added the hood insert. That's why I went with LineX. Although dark & shiney, the texture keeps it from being too reflective.

Most hoods have a shiny, gloss finish though. How was the CF applied? I love it.
I'm assuming it's got some sort of clear coat on top? Is it built up, sanded, and redone several times?
