Hey if I order an OEM windshield from Isuzu here in the USA it's $935 plus shipping so the price for OEM that you got in the UK is not too bad. It's just here the aftermarket is better so we have more options.

I got quoted around $200 uninstalled. I think my area may be a bit competitive because it's a pretty rural area with many dirt and rocky roads, and rocks are always flying up and breaking them.

A VXer in Canada asked for my help to see if I could get a windshield at our low price and somehow ship it to him. I dealt with "Safelite", a huge windshield firm here. Got quoted about $200 for one, and about $350 for two. I could pick them up at the Safelite place, and then I'd have to work out the packaging and shipping to Canada. I learned not all places will sell you one flat out (without installation), but SafeLite would.

    What about this idea....
you'd need somebody in the U.S. to order 2 (to make it worth your while), and then that person would have to find the absolute best packaging techniques, and shipping methods. I realize shipping may be pretty pricey to ship them to you. All in all this may end up being the same cost as the OEM one, plus you have the risk of breakage, but at least you'd have 2.

We know they ship their windshields somehow, probably in a rack. Maybe somebody here could get one built. I'm thinking you could use that expanding foam spray all throughout the box or crate, the glass wouldn't be able to move at all, and the foam is like padding.

    Just an idea....
