I would miss not having MY truck, but the cost savings may be worth it.

I'll run some number and give it some thought.

For kicks I just mapped out the trip - 2,200 miles, each way.

Flying out there and riding along as a human cupholder option might be the only way for me. Will investigate!

I'll ride shotgun in your VX for a 1/2 run while the wife drives my VX. I don't think I could watch her drive anyways...its a little scary .... on second thought, I may need to be there.
