ALTERASTRO--- Go to www.CampingWorld.com and then do a search for: "Wide Angle Lens"

At the website you will find two(2) vinyl freznal lens models that stick to the inside of the rear window and greatly magnifies the road/traffic behind you. There are many of us VX'ers here on this forum that have this exact item (myself included) stuck in the rear window and it works great.

Camping World also does "International Shipping" across the pond.

Which size works best? Looks like they offer an 8x10 and an 11x14. But it seems like you'd have to cut it to fit the curve of the door in either case right?

Thanks Riff, we have them here too. In fact I had one on my Paj, but didn't think much of it. My rear glass is limo black too, so not sure how well it would work. Add to the fact that I love gadgets I think I'll research a better camera to replace the existing with.

I bought a digital rear view mirror that takes two inputs. You can have two cameras, one for reversing, one as a rearview. The screen is actually two layers, an LCD screen, and a mirror, so you still have mirror functionality. You can adjust the image anywhere you like, full screen, 1/4 left, 1/4 right, and so on. I ran it through a toggle that also powers my CB, inverter...camera is always on when I drive. Been about 9 months, no problems yet.

Thats awesome, I have a rearview camera that I fitted into the JDM housing. It looks great on the VX but functions poorly. The screen is too small and the picture gets washed out by light.

Would you please let me know where you got it Marlin? It seems like time for an upgrade

Got it at the World's junkyard....EBay It was under 200, took about 2 hours to install (I would classify myself is a very avid DIYer, and I am an electrician by trade.)

I really like it too Marlin.

Electrician by day, welder by night....

Been thinkin, if I had you fab up a rear bumper for me I wouldn't need a rear camera.
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"
