Hey Maverick I'd like to get together. These vehicles are tough to find around here. Wish we could get a few and do a beach trip down to Corolla.

No doubt, and there's a few of us in the area (jdm_monkey's down in Va Beach, for one). I've been out on the beach at OBX a lot over the last year, but I tend to shy away from the northern beaches (just too many damn tourists). The lower part of Hatteras island has some pretty significant trails that cut back and forth across the cape that are pretty fun. Nothing challenging, just narrow, sharply banked blind curves through tall grasses next to tidal marshes and the ocean. Absolutely gorgeous.

I don't have the LV to go out there during the week, but I'm game for a weekend trip this summer if we can get some interest. Maybe we could talk tom4bren into coming down (nudge nudge Tom).
