So, today I was doing the repair on the passenger side window with the bracket supplied by SBC and dropped a nut inside the door. While looking for it, I found this. Any Idea what it is and where it go's

I think it has something to do with drainage of water from the door- but Im probably waaaaay off.

It could also be the door snorkle.

glove box is a good place for it and thanks for the manual suggest, but I have already uploaded the manuals here for everyones use.

Its a VXDDF/ Door Depth Float...it must have fallen off the water meter that is hooked to the auto-shut window regulator..when you go into deep water it measures the depth of the water inside the door and when it gets near the top of the opening it shuts the window...I hope this helps
