Thanks guy's, I'll pull the left door apart next and see if I can figure it out.

I think it has something to do with drainage of water from the door- but Im probably waaaaay off.

It could also be the door snorkle.

Its a VXDDF/ Door Depth Float...it must have fallen off the water meter that is hooked to the auto-shut window regulator..when you go into deep water it measures the depth of the water inside the door and when it gets near the top of the opening it shuts the window...I hope this helps
