Well after worrying I just said screw it and cut basically what you did. Hammered the hell out of it but not muchjust kindda shaping and making sure no sharpedges really. I did have to cut a bit of the wheel well liner but eh no biggie no going back now. Rubs a small bit but only a few minor things let to trim. The front of the rear looks like it may need some work. i am worries about the rub when I goto moab so we shall see. I will flex it later to see where it rubs and make adjustments there.

And thanks. I cant tell you how many more people have stoped me and look and flag me down before I get back in my truck to ask what it is. The thing is made to be lifted, doesnt look right without it. I am very happy with outcome. lol so far anyways a few tweeks on the suspinsion to get the water bed feeling out of it when driving down the hwy.

I couldn't agree more. Stance is everything! And the VX still handles really well with a lift. If I ever get a second VX it will be the dark silver with gray interior. Those wheels of yours look so good with that color... I could see me copying your setup but with the fantasy SAS and 35's.

That looks sweet. I am gonna be using Barts 265 to see if I want that size but I really like the 285's you fit. I dont mind trimming at all. HMMMMM

I'm with you...I tried the "middle of the road" approach for a while with 265/70's... because I had all the same concerns that Bart has...didn't want to lose cornering, didn't want to lose mileage, etc., etc.

But after going to 285/75's there is no return...welcome to the dark (dirt) side.

Dunno I measured it but, will measure again thanks for noticing...

As for conering pfft liek Dub said in another post with enough hammeringa nd trimming you can turn just as sharp... But not at high speeds. Plus as far as gas goes still testing it. But we all didnt by our Vx's for thier gas effientcy <sp>.

    Sweet! That is NICE!

O.K. maybe I missed it in the other post. Tell me:
    1) name of rimes and size, back spacing etc.
    2) name of tire and size
    3. price would be nice, but I understand if you don't want to.

    Peace.
