"I got BIG tires and I cannot lie"

"You other brothers can deny".... Sorry that was my worst sir-mix-alot impression. you dont even want to see the best either.

So here is my problem I have my tires on WAHOO and had to cut a bit of the cladding up front. But have a problem with the front tires still. The rear of the wheel well is rubbing. All I an see is a bracket. My question to you "bigger tire" folks is what did u do? Take bracket off and beat with a hamer?? Or just beat with a hammer?

Where it rubs on front tire rear of the wheel well

    A upward view of it.

    And now the red-headed-step bracket

So any suggestions would be awesome. I am thinking its a simple removal of the bracket and maybe hammer a bit.

If I remember correctly, the bracket is spot welded to the body - I hacked mine in half with a sawzall where it turns to horizontal. Remove the inner liner and you get a great look at what can be done. I pulled the cladding away from the bracket when I started cutting to protect it. It is glued to the metal and one of those little white plastic plug things secures it to that bracket - I cut my plug off with a pair of dikes to save time, then I carefully pulled until I could wedge something between the steel and the cladding. I used my Roto-Zip to cut the liner and the cladding to shape. I sprayed bedliner stuff very thick onto the metal that is under the liner. Then I hammered the hell out of it! When I got the shape I wanted I sprayed some more to fill the seams and cover the pounded metal. I think it looks pretty clean! I'll take a pic of the finished result when i get a chance... don't hold your breath though!

Well, I had the same problem. I took a dead blow to it, it is bendable. One came out looking like that is the way it should be, the other, well, you can tell I took a dead blow to it, oops

    Talking

Yous guys & yer fancy power tools & such...

Being predominantly of the cave man persuasion, I just beat mine into submission with a two pounder, trimmed off whatever plastic that was still in the way with a tin snips, & finished with liberal applications of bed liner...it's my fender well, I don't care if it's purdy...UGHHHH!

    You just lifted, right?

I wanted Terras but they wouldn't fit the AR's without lifting.
I still had to get down and dirty in there.

I had to bend back some of the front-rear wheel well (underneath the lining) and then zip-tied the lining out of the way.

Ya I had them put on to see how much tires stuck out of the wheel well with AR's I have. Lol no way it would work unless I was only going in a straight line

So ya lift required just didnt know how squirrely it felt driving that high up. I feel like I am floating...

That means they will send enough material to do either two, or four fender wells...I ordered the one in the top right pic...the one with the wire in the lip.
I ordered a set, not two...maybe roll was the wrong word to use...think more like coiled into a flat box.
