OK......question..........if I try synthetic Mobil 1 and don't like it, can I switch back to conventional? I've heard that once you switch to synthetic you have to stay with synthetic. Here's another. How often do you change the oil with Mobil 1?

Don't know about switching back...but I use Mobil 1 5W-30 and still change it every 3,000 miles along with the filter and the PCV valve...

Yeah. You are definitely right about that. Probably better for oil changes, but I know I keep a couple 1 quart containers in my truck for fill ups. Figured it wouldn't be a terrible idea to stock up a bit.Originally Posted by BigSwede
