    Jo's right it has been beat to death but...

    I run whatever premium synthetic AutoZone / Advance Auto has on sale at the time (gasp! ). I've read the performance charts and articles in the past and have come to the conclusion that the differences are so miniscule that if you change the oil every 3K miles there's virtually no difference.
