As for performance and sporty? Well think back to the 30s and 40s when it came out. You could not even 4 wheel anywhere. They actually created the vehicle that made 4 wheeling popular, suree a car invented 40 years later is going to do it better but that means they are not first. Add to that all the functionality of the Jeep and you have a winner.
