Exactly. That was some sticky stuff. I did bounce it off the rev-limiter a couple times, but wasn't worth trashing anything trying to get out.

That Tennessee gumbo can be a real beeeotch. Looking at your tires (smooth as a baby's but with accumulated mud), you would've had to red line to keep them clean & moving forward in that stuff.

I remember getting into some really nasty red clay near Tullahoma. I spent as much time sliding sideways as I did moving forward. I had a blast though. Ended up with mud clods the size of softballs landing on my hood.

Buy yourself a set or two of thick plastic floor mats. They can be placed under your tires and help get yourself out of the mud as long as its not too deep and soupy.
