man...that thing is sexy...i LOVE the body style of those RX-8's...

just dont think i could afford to repair them with 'specialized' mechanics, certified to work on rotary...

probably one of my favorite body styles of any car made

Um correct me if I am wrong. But it has less parts so it cant be that hard to work on the engine.. A guy at my work had a old rx7 that said would never die. He said engine was a cinch and he is no auto mechanic. He has just tinkered enough with crap over the years.

And friend looked at the '10 rx8 models.. OMG one she saw was in the mid 30's because of some specially made seats, fits like a glove (her words).... Um I will save a bit more for a sti. Course I will wait for the Hp bump that is rumored to be had in them as well

10,000ft? Now why would I do something like that? I live on the coast for a reason. :P

i promise that you would be really dissapointed in the power and gas mileage of BOTH of your vehicles at high altitude

makes your car feel really sluggish (just got back from sea level with my VX)

i gotta say, i have never felt a VX at sea level. the lowest mine has ever been was moab. but it felt like a completely different vehicle. it was actually fun to drive, usually i just feel dissapointed when i step on it in my VX trying to get over the rockies. (it pretty much just revs up a lot and doesnt get any faster at high altitude)

You sir need a SC! Mine was flying up Vale Pass on the way home (moab '08) passing cars that were asthmatic in the slow lane. Plus, I didn't need to brake on the downslope because of the great engine braking these things have! Now that was with 31" tires...now I got 32" tires but it still feels as zippy with the new Dynomax muffler & 2.5" cat-back exhaust.

A hole in the head, but a friend of mine's roommate is letting his '98 Subaru RS go (had a 2.5 STi swap done 2 years ago with many other tuned bells and whistles). Puts out 390hp. I always wanted one. Offered a VERY generous deal to me which is a steal so I am gonna consider it over the week. Looks like the pic but maroon....

We recently picked up a 2010 Fusion Sport with 3.5L and 6 speed auto. She traded in her 05 mustang, and we are loving the Fusion. It's a zippy machine with 260 HP.
I'm still driving a 2003 Escape with 130k miles on it... But I have the VX and my bike too.

That's the one I would choose also (but NOT subie blue.) Wish I had another hole in my garage.

Ya, I am fresh out of room. Garage full and driveway called for.

It's funny you brought that up though cause that determined my choice. It would be the VX or that.... and sry VX lovers but it was a close call. To get it, I would probably get rid of the VX. So.... I decided that the VX stays. For now. Changing manifold gaskets one more time and if the CEL comes back for the same reason one more time.... she gets sold to some random Russian who wants a S/C, hahaha. THEN..... I get an old RS.
