I checked out your photo gallery. I just love the pictures, as they show a lot of detail. Yes, it does look like a very tight fit on the front when turning and they still clear without any rubbing-- that's awesome! I really like the way they "fill up" the wheel wells. Were your previous tires (in the Winter photographs) also 285/60R18 or were they a tad smaller size???

ya the previous tires were 285/60-18 Goodyear Eagle GTII they had almost no thread so i decided to change them, i am really happy with the new terra grapplers so far, i seriously hear almost no noise compared to the other highway tires i dont know why.
Also the Terra Grappler's made my ride a little higher im guessing the tread makes a big difference, now the antena hits everywhere in my garage.

thanks for the compliments! Every time i see my Vx i just fall more in love with it!

Yep, on your stockers (wheels), you should be cut free with that size, or at least very minimal cutting. Once you change the wheel size, just keep in mind that, things like the offset, will surely change the gameplan.

    Looks good.

    Pepino:

I noticed on the Nitto internet website that there are actually two(2) "versions" of the 285/60R18 Terra Grapplers. One is 285/60R18-XL (Extra Load) and the other is LT285/60R18. Which "version" did you get??? In addition, I noticed that the Nitto tire chart for the Terra Grapplers does not indicate actual weight of each tire. I wonder what each "version" of the Terra Grapplers difference in weight is??? I suspect that the 285/60R18-XL will be lighter in weight than the LT285/60R18??? Please advise.
