I have 18s and 15s. The 15s give it a more retro look and better ride and the 18s are way better for handling.
Cars designed by spreadsheets make sense. Cars designed by engineers make history.

    Kodiak,

Love those 15s. I had them on a Samurai back in the day. Don't laugh - it was a great commuter car.

A set of 20's..... Seriously though, I wish I would've bought some 20's and huge mudding tires when I first got the VX back in Dec2004. Oh well, but I enjoy walking past the VX now more than ever.

Kodiak I agree on the 18" and the handling. I run 18's in the summer with Yokohama's and look forward the instigate (<-- spelling??) any Off-Ramp enter/exit challanges. With the Rancho's on firm the VX is on rails. A funny little story, With about 3 miles until my favorite exit ramp (Ramp speed posted at 40, I hit it at 60+ maybe a bit more if a challange arises) anyway a late model Mustang zipped by me so with about 1/2 before the exit I pushed the VX up to him, at this time he was looking out his rear mirror more than his windshield, then the fun began, with his door handles dragging the ground I pushed the VX up to him then backed off then up again (knowing when the straight away came he would leave me in the dust, I didn't give him the satifaction). He exited and took off, I cruised on into town then about 4 stop lights in we were side-by-sdie I was very surprized when I pulled up next to him he gave me a thumbs-up, I did the same. I love the VX ! ! !

I think I was running 31's. I ran it for 200K miles & gave it to my sister who put on another 50K. Engine never touched - 1 tranny rebuild - 1 TX replacement. Can't argue with that. Almost forgot - only rolled once.
