Pretty cool, but I just can't manage to care enough about those in the back seat to want to entertain them while I drive.....just kidding, I guess they'd be great for those with kids or friends with short attention spans.![]()

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on me.
I think someone should do Pimp my ride style and have an LCD drop down when you open the back door so you could play Video games and watch movies anywhere you want.
I tried that route a few years ago. Worked out ok for camping trips. We set up some lawn chairs outside the back of my VX and were able to view movies and play XBox. But, without proper/improved power management, my power inverter was hell on my battery, heh. I have since removed all that equipment.
I was never into the LCD headrest screens. I always saw them as a "aw hell 'naw dawg.... my whip gots class 'an I am a baw'la". FAR from who I am, heh.![]()

i was driving home around 1-2 am a few months ago and was behind this suburban with headrest monitors on the 3rd row, so the only people who could see it was people driving behind.. this very upstanding gentleman who was driving was playing a movie that could have easily been starring jenna jameson.. im sure its only a matter of time before he gets rear-ended haha
I read a year or two ago about a guy in upstate NY who was arrested for that!
I'm with you Ascinder! It's only about 2-3 drives a year for which someone has decided to scramble their way into my backseat... it's just not worth spending a dime on that situation, which is also why I like to drive 2-door vehicles with something in it you can point to and call a "back seat." Like a donut spare, it's there if you really need it, but that comes up so seldom that it's just not an important concern to me.
In any event, most people who know me consider my driving to be more than enough to engage their attention! :bwgr:
