    Wink

    If you're really trying to change the MPG, wouldn't it be cheaper and less time consuming to go out and buy an Echo? Drive it one day of the week and it'll shave a ton of MPG off the VX, though indirectly.;Dr;

    unless your O2 sensors are known to be bad, new ones will do nothing to help. save that money for gas

    partly true...
    O2s wont always throw codes, unless very bad...
    but if they are borderline, they can start effecting mileage
    and show no code.
    Generally we change them on our cars and customers cars every
    85-100k. Mine look to be the oe units and have 105k on them.
    I dont mind changing them in the near future, just to be on the
    safe side.
    Thanks.

    Oi! Don't slag the Yaris/Echo/Vitz...

    Meanwhile, back on topic... I found that on the diesel a well maintained cone filter actually helped improve fuel consumption.
