As much as I love my stealthy black ones, I can't wait to get ahold of these clears. It will be nice to have my side blinker working again too

Yeah, it says in the description that this is a test set with unfixable flaws that they do not want to offer at full value.
Hope that's a sign that they truly take good pride in their work.

I re-read the discription and noticed that... I've heard alot about their products in the past, and had a couple friends buy from them. the quality is pretty good, great workmanship

I can't wait for them to start production. I really want to pick up some tinted ones!

Yeah those are the first preproduction run ones that have defects and cannot be sold at full price, this was already discussed in this thread a few posts up, but yes those are them, the first pair, and I am excited for the final production models to be ready!

they done the rear markers too? ive got an extra pair of those layin around if you want them... might be encouraging for them to do it if you let them know that a majority of the 90's miatas use the same light

More good news...

Expect to start getting contacted by next week. For anyone that could detect the flaws in the last shot, here is a NEW pic of the
finished SIDE lenses.

They also have completed the FRONT lenses as well, so
if you're interested in both, you can order at the same time!
That's one of the reasons we have been waiting on the others.
As for the front lenses, I'm waiting to hear back on:
*price
*availability in tinted option
*ordering method for anyone that only wants these and not SIDE lenses.

If you ever want to sell the right side rear marker light... housing, lens, et all, let me know. I've scoured every salvage avenue I can find. They'll email me a reply as bait, but when I call, it's a no-go.

I have NOT pursued the rear markers at all...
I figured if the Miata fix worked, anyone interested could go that route.
Plus, I took on the side lenses as a gamble to begin with.

If there's enough interest in them though, we could borrow yours to send in.
I personally don't think I'll worry about them...but I'll set it up with Klearz if people want.

You are 15th on the waiting list. so it might be about a month until we contact you. We have 3 options for the housing, white, black and silver. For the lenses we have clear and smoked. We can also do custom colors for the housing and lenses (blue, green, yellow, red, etc etc)

They can be as light or as dark as you want. Once we have some VX smoked lenses done we will post them on our site so ppl know what to expect.

So I sent them my e-mail one of the first days so if I am 15th on the list..... But man these should be awesome when they are done. I am thinking I will get the black housing with a light tint. Hope this answers some peoples questions, I know it helped me out a little.

Not a prob, man.
I know the majority of mechanical, hardcore / ORing type of owners don't really worry about small things like orange marker lenses, but I'm kinda into looks (what can I say I'm from Califonia) and IMO, a small fix like replacing them with a more uniform color really improves the overall look. I am not into ricer stuff or carpet queens at all, I just noticed and totally agreed with the demand for these things when I joined the group. And to be honest, I didn't dig too deep to find Klearz. I found them online rather easily and they corresponded well with me. One thing led to another...

Knigh7 put in a few good words about the company a couple of posts up, and I should have my lenses very soon. I will post up a review on them as soon as I have them.

Agreed. The VX is all about looks for me. Anything to improve upon the already great looking stock look is worth the money to me. That said, at this point I would probably pay A LOT of money for someone to fix my oil burning issue....but at this point I don't even think that is a possibility...

I know the clear bumps are $75 but how much for the smoked or tinted ones and do we have a price on the lower lenses? jus curious cuz i didn't see any thing set on here or on klearz site...

The lenses are the same price regardless of color. However, they want $5 more for non-white housings.

No price yet on the front lenses. I'm awaiting an email reply.
