I took mine completely off for a couple weeks to try it out. It did feel a bit softer up front but I never felt like it was out of control or anything. Had it up to 75mph w/o it. But it didn't do much for flex so I ended up just putting it back on. I'd say try it out for yourself and decide. Or just pop for some disconnects. I'll probably pull mine off again come summer when I'm wheeling it more frequently. Or if I had a trail only zu it wouldn't ever have a sway bar front or rear.
