Moab Zu photos from a rodeo guy

Just wanted to thank everyone for making my first ZuZoo so much fun. Everyone was very helpfull and freindly. It was a blast! Whoever I got the gear oil from on fins 'n things I owe you!. I got it sealed back up that night and had bought another quart to pay you back but didnt see you again. I ended up using it though saturday after destroying my rear diff cover on Strike Ravine instead of just pealing it out a little. I got it pounded back into shape and sealed up for the trip home. Its still on there with no leaks.

The first part of my pics has alot of pics of VX's (mostly CeCe since she was always on the obsticle by the time I got stopped and my camera out) from the fins 'n things run. Pic Linky

And the only pic I have of mine on a trail so you know who I am

And a pic I thought you guys might like. I didnt notice it till I got home and started editing pics..

Not sure if Larry has seen this yet. I saw it on 4x4wire.

    Thanx Bud,

Enjoyed meeting you & no, I hadn't seen that one yet. I was hoping that someone got a pic of that. Not to wish any bad juju on Randii, but I sure felt a little better not being the "only one".

I hope Dave posts the series of Randii showing us how Larry did it. The best one is where Randii is standing up through the sun roof. Sorry we could only make the weekend.

Happy to help out, my Black Hole Brother.

If it makes you feel better, I turned around and flopped it the other way on Sunday. http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showfl...5&o=14&fpart=1

I continue to be amazed at how far I actually was from the line I intended. I still maintain that I was picking good lines, but I **CERTAINLY** wasn't driving them!

    Randii (needs a kickstand, apparently)

Uhhhhh...NO, that doesn't make me feel any better, but I'm glad to see you-n-Uzi made it home without further mishap.
Sheesh...maybe we need to find a good optometrist.
I hope to be posting my "best of" Moab pics this weekend, but no promises...work kind of "piled up" around here while I was goofing off in Moab, & I've committed to helping friends & family with different carpentry projects this weekend.
But here are a couple teasers...

That's the Wedgie on Poison Spider, outbound. It take astonishingly bad wheel placement in a very particular place to get a flop there. I've slipped into the crack, before, and run it up, down, and sideways... I wouldn't believe it was POSSIBLE to flop there... but the pictures prove the point.

Randii definately gots some mad skills to get that flop.

Poison Spider is a cool trail Tom. I've done the tale end of it, including the wedge, and it was pretty cool. I think when I go next year I'll have to run the whole thing.

Randii just needs a new sharpie so he can write notes about which line to take on the windows Was nice to see Uzi running.

I wont be having anymore bent diff cover problems now. Hit ebay when I got back and managed to get a TeraLow cover for $36 shipped. Its 3/8" thick ductile cast iron and weighs 10 lbs! Found out later after some searching that they cost $170! Got it put on sunday then clearanced it last night, was about 1/16" too long on the bottom.

    Heres the beef..
