Not bad. But the 5-quart jugs at Sprawlmart are cheaper per quart.
OK......question..........if I try synthetic Mobil 1 and don't like it, can I switch back to conventional? I've heard that once you switch to synthetic you have to stay with synthetic. Here's another. How often do you change the oil with Mobil 1?
Thanks.
Tom
Don't know about switching back...but I use Mobil 1 5W-30 and still change it every 3,000 miles along with the filter and the PCV valve...:yesy::yeso:
You can switch back and forth, no problem. That is an old wives tale from the 80s.
You can go longer intervals if you want. On a previous vehicle I went 10K for changes, but changed the filter every 5K. Seemed to work well. Once my DD is out of warranty I will probably do that again.
Of course, those of you burning oil don't really need to change it at all, the new oil you are adding refreshes the additive package regularly. ;) Seriously.
