Bilstein Shock options
I just saw something that caught my eye on the "VX Lift options Wiki" thread but I didn't want to hijack...
The Bilstein shocks for the VX are listed as:
Front - B47-1738-H2 (or -H1 for more stiffness)
Rear - B46-1739-H1
I installed these on my VX (H1's in front) a couple years back, and while they are an excellent choice for the VX with a very close-to-stock ride, the rears are probably stiffer than they need to be, and a softer one might be appropriate for the VX. After all, these Bilstein models are actually the ones they recommend for the Trooper (they don't have a recommendation for the VX), and the longer Trooper probably carries more weight on the rear axle, requiring a stiffer shock to counteract the additional inertia.
So - my question is this...
Does anyone know if Bilstein makes a B46-1739-H2 shock for the rear?

A quick search of Bilstein's site turned up a "no" answer. Their site is really really good for searching. Too bad they don't have a vx specific shock setup.
I was just about to order the bilsteins but I don't want to make the Rear shocks stiffer. Might have to do some research on other options for the rear.
BTW I hope you don't mind but I added your quote to the Lift wiki thread.
