What is recommended mileage for timing belt replacment?
IIRC it's about 120K miles, but should be listed in the owner's manual maintenance section.
my owner's manual says normal conditions-100,000 miles,severe conditions-75,000 miles. I replaced mine at 75,000 since i didn't know the history and I was driving out to Moab.
I'd say if you not the original owner - replace it at 75000. And do not forget to replace tensioner, two pulleys and water pump at the same time.Quote:
