Yes! Gotta clear this with my lovely wife since she's driving the IronMan, but I'm almost 100% we'll enter the street class. :bgwg:
Thanks Smiley! This is just what I needed as I've been suffering rally withdrawal!

Arrgghhh! After reviewing the calendar (lovely wife said "yes") we found the date conflicts with our annual vintage Caterpillar meet in Kansas, which I'm obliged to attend as the founder of the organization.
Do you know if there will be additional events? I've just GOT to do this!
Well, poop.
I imagine, after this first one, there will undoubtedly be similar events in the future... I'll be sure to keep you posted.
Someones got to step up and represent the VX crowd! Come on all you east coasters. If only it was just a wee bit closer!![]()

Before anyone *does* step-up, I just want to be clear...
This IS NOT a peppy little ride in the country over some forestry roads -- the race course is on one of the tougher off-road trails in Uwharrie, with steep ascents, rock outcroppings, erosion berms, etc.
Doug (Bansil) and I are participating in a 1990 Amigo -- a vehicle in which he is presently busy building a roll cage and installing racing seats & harnesses.
I would LOVE to see a VehiCROSS entered in the Stock Class (or even Stock Modified), but I certainly wouldn't want someone to do so without their eyes being wide open to the...... ummm...... ‘possibilities’.
I have no doubt that at least some of the participants will be going home with mangled sheet metal (at best).
*crickets*
