For those wanting to go to manual hubs here is the skinny.

This is a very easy mod to do. Only "special" tool you need is a pair of lockring pliers (a pointy pair of needlenose will work also). You will also need a 5/16 allen wrench and 10mm socket.
With the VX on jackstands remove the front tires.
Next you will need a helper or rig up something to hold the brake pedal to prevent the hub/rotors from turning.
Remove the 6 5/16 allen bolts from the hub cover.

Then remove the hub cover.

Next remove the lockring using lockring pliers.

Then you can remove the drive flange.

The hub cover and flange can then be put to rest, stored, sold, bartered, or given away since they will not be reused. There is a thin shim that is there that is reused though so don't lose that.
Next place the bottom of the Asin hub on and secure it with the 6 5/16 allen bolts. I used a thin bead of ultra black RTV to seal this. Torque to specs.

Next install the hub dial with the 6 10mm bolts. Before placing them all in test the hub by locking it and unlocking it to make sure you have it installed right. I had to rotate mine a few times before I got it lined up right and all worked correctly.

And here is the finished project...

From start to finish a beginner should be able to do both sides in under an hour.
