I tryed doing it the "no tools" method, but with no luck. I was not sure if you could use a regular 14 or if it had to be some special wiz-dandy serpentine 14.
    Thanks!!

I just did mine last week, "piece of cake" with a 24 inch torque wrench to move the tensioning wheel. I would recommend having someone to help do the job. That way one can hold the tensioning wheel, while the other person gets the belt on the other wheels.

The only belt that AutoZone carries is the 6PK2275.
I could not get this belt to fit. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I need to adjust to get the 2275 to fit?

This may or may not be of any help...

Also, did you hold the two (new & old) belts toghther & compare them for length ?

    Just a couple of possibilities.

That picture is awesome. Wish I had that about six months ago.

Yes, the old belt is a 2288 and the new one is a 2275, just 12mm difference. I have the tensioner cranked as far as it can go and the belt still does not want to slip on. Do I need to just force it a little bit? I'd hate to do damage to the belt trying to get it on. Everyone says how easy it is to slip on, so I feel that I'm doing something wrong.

    Sorry to say but...

It's only easy to slip on if you have the right size belt...12mm doesn't sound like much, but apperently, it's enough.

From the other serpentine belt and general maintenacne threads I've read, everyone is using a 2275 belt. How do they do it?
