I have to replace the front shocks to pass MOT and have been told that the Rancho RS9000's would suit.
Anyone tried these, and if so are they a straight swop as I don't have the space or tools at the moment for a great deal of fiddling.

Yup, easy fit.
I like the adjustability too (if you get that model)- they were a bit spongy on the soft setting (nose would bounce a bit on braking) but after cranking the torsion bars up 2.5", the soft setting is now sweet. Before the lift I found the stiff setting smoother than the stock shocks.
(I put the poly bushings on after this pic.)
If you do the rear ones too, use lots of PB Blaster and use a breaker bar. Those upper bolts were tough for me.
