Hey Ruf,

While I am no expert, nor am I 100% positive, according to the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual I have, it looks like the Tach is connected via the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) which is located behind the center console box (under where the stock CD changer would be), in the upper right hand corner. It looks like both the speedo and tach get their input from this module. If that doesn't make sense, I will snap a photo of mine for you...

But it is in the manual, and I know you just PMed me for a copy...
