How important is it, OBD P0113

Just had a OBD Code of P0113, IAT Circuit Input High. (The other morning, had a indication of minus 40 degrees Inlet temp on the Scan Gauge II) Will this really effect anything if I just ignore it or should I just buy a new inlet sensor ASAP? Have reset the code.

Is it flashed back again after you reset code? If CE no longer appears, I'd say you have weak contact in the sensor plug (try to open and close it back it few times to remove rust, also check if wires not crank close to the plug).
If the Intake Air on ScanGauge does not look reasonable for you - get new sensor from the dealer. You will not kill anything if you will drive with this error, but I think your MPG could decrease.
