01 proton - just hit 49k

to you guys that have had your VXs a while and still keep the miles down...HOW? I just sold my 05 truck and it had 26k on it after a year...all me. I dunno I got an 01 with only 46k when I picked it up. As you can tell...3 weeks and already 3k. (of course, I did drive it back from miami)
