Bearings on the fan pulley? You mean the fan clutch? Sounds like an out of balance fan - I have an extra (I think) if you need one. The tensioner or idler pulley bearings could be failing which could cause the belts to be eaten. Item causing problem should either be visible when the engine is running or by pushing on all of the pulleys with the belt off.

The fan does wobble; the part w/ 4 bolts that connect the fan to the mounting bracket keeps sliding forward, if that makes sense.
