    Question Ironman Question

(Sorry I jumped into that other Thread - I'll post it here - Hope I got this one right)

I was wondering why some IronMan models have a logo on the hood?

Did they put it on there or factory?

Also some appear to have more of a flat black hood insert, while others seem glossy. What's the original or did they come both ways?

I might not be to sharp, but I'm not so bright.

the ironmans came with the IRONMAN decal on the hood, many people removed them though. i think the hood inserts just look different depending on the light/treatment, i know a few guys on the forum have rhinolined theirs, or got their inserts replaced with carbonfiber, personally i just wax mine with turtlewax ICE and it keeps it looking fairly shiny

    Ahhh, Mystery Solved.

Were all white units the Ironman edition?

Were there any other stickers or the like that came associated with any other color VXs?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

i think ironman was the only 'package' you could get that was any variation from stock, came with the logos, 'ironman' seats and floormats and a roofrack

im pretty sure all the victory white vx's were ironmans, theres a legendary 'pearl white' vx that wasnt ironman.. but only one

all the other colors were just plain 'ol boring VXs

Yes...all "IronMan" VXs were white and all came equiped with hood decal, side & rear decals, imprinted Recaro seats and special logo floor mats.

The IronMan was designed for the IronMan Triathalon series and available only in the U.S.A. between 1999-2001.

    There were a total of 420 made in 1999, 96 in 2001 and 86 in 2001

(602 total IronMan series Limited Editions were ever produced)

    Just my 2 cents
    John
