    A LITTLE trimming - not!

Stock tire is 29.5" tall and 9.64" wide
285/75/16 is almost 33" tall and 11.2" wide.

You'll need to crank the tbars which will make the front higher than the back and then you'll have to buy spacers or new springs for the back, and cut at least the front cladding if not the back of the wheelwell slightly but it will look good.

A 285/60 is a much better choice if you are trying to go for the wider look - maybe even a 285/65

About the biggest you can go with no lift & a "little trimming" is 265/70x16"...
MAYBE 275/70's...like Tone say, without a little (2-2 1/2") lift, it's gonna be real snug.
I did the OME 912, BJ flip & T-bar crank with 285/75x16's & STILL had to caress the rear of the front fender wells with the BFH & trim a bit more cladding than with the 265's I had before.

They are actually 33.1" tall and 11.3" wide. I went 2" bigger than stock and it was a little trimming. That size would need a lot of trimming. As others have already said. shawn

Guys...I have put on that size tire and I tell you, it was only a little trimming. I did put on OME912, and crank the tbars. Had to do only a little mod to both the front and back of the wheel well. It's snug, but on a full radius turn, it clears without a problem.

For street use may be okay but it you take it off road at all and flex the suspension a little you'll be rubbing. With a lift and only 31's I still get some rubbing.

Psycho, are those the tire companies specs as I used a calculator for the average size.

Gee, Kahuna sounds like you had to do ALL of the items I mentioned...

Those won't fit! I've got a 2" lift and had to trim a bunch - still rub slightly when turning and going over bumps.
