    Nissan Recalls thousands of cars

    Just heard on XM radio, Nissan has recalled a slew of cars with the 2.5L 4-cyl engine for "excessive oil consumption" due to at least 274 consumer reports.

    They are also apparently extending the warranties by 84 months or 100,000 miles.

    Makes you go hrrmmmmm....

    our stock 'fog lights' say 'nissan' on them... does that count for the warranty?? haha...

    Nissan is just getting some practice in issuing recalls in preparation for a partnership with GM.

    I've got a soft-spot for Nissan and really hope they don't buy into GM, it sure looks suicidal to me.
