New Tomy VX toy (at least to me!)

Scored this cool little Tomy motorized diecast off eBay recently and don't recall ever seeing it before. It's supposed to run on some common train rail, like a Brio track or somesuch. It's nicely detailed with accurate decals and built very heavily. Looks a little odd with the tiny wheels though.
