for the horn lights, i used the 5 LED matrix bulb from www.autolumination.com with no trouble at all, its bright and fits perfect, check my gallery for pics

I also had issues with my first attempt at LED replacements. The brake lights I originally purchased did not fit into the housing (probably similar to yours), and the base of the front signal lights were too big to plug fully into the fixture.

But, once I followed Moncha's great LED review my problems disapeared ...and autolumination.com let me return all the unuseable bulbs.
