Hey Tone, I think I would like it, but could you mail me a photo of it just so I know what it looks like? ( nfp@nofuture.com )Originally Posted by Tone
I would like to put the tailgate mod in eventually, so this would be good. I am also going to mount some nice off road torches eventually. This would be a good spot for these switches also. How hard is it to find switches for this cover plate you have?
Thanks - Bart
PS - I like that LED clock...but 2 clocks aren't really needed IMO, however it would be nice because with my radio you have to switch from disc mode to clock mode if you want to see the time....which can be slightly annoying.
as far as i know the switches from a lot of different isuzus and honda passports are all the same as the VX switches
Picture is in the thread but w/o the switches. You can have your stereo default to clock or CD.
I have 3 toggle switches in there!
1 for daylight driving lamps.
1 for switching the back-up camera on/off.
1 for enabeling the dvd screen from the AVIC unit whilst driving.

Hey Tone, thanks. So if I get the cover plate from you, all I need is swtiches then? What is the "CF Patterned Fuzzy Hole"? Is the just a replacment fuzzy hole?Originally Posted by Tone
Also, yes, my stereo (a JVC KD-DV5100) can default to stereo, but I usually like it displaying the ID3 Tag for the MP3 playing, so when I want to switch to clock, I have to hit the Display button on it...which can be annoying...because there are 4 display modes, (folder name, track time, ID3 Tag, and clock) but not TOO annoying. The JVC KD-DV5100 is a sweet player because it can read MP3s from DVD-r and I have like 40,000 MP3s and no i-POD so its really nice

I believe the fuzzy hole was intended for toll road coins.
Toll roads are common in Japan
That would explain it... every time I come to a toll booth, I have a "yen" to throw money out the window.

hahahahaha....
Hmmm, I suppose that could make sense, since the fuzziness would keep the change from sliding around...interesting thought.
