after much consideration (and a chance to snap some pics), the BORB's will be coming off, at least temporarily. the tires were rubbing a little too much for my comfort. i'll start looking for a slightly narrower width tire. I know Cyrk had no issues with rubbing with his selection of tires, so I ,may pursue that route, as soon as the budget permits. I'm a bit bummed (), as they look sharp!! However, at least now, I'll feel alot better knowing I did not have to mutilate the VX simply for looks. thanks, all!

btw - as soon as I figure out how to post pics, i will.
What size tires are you trying to use? 285?
Well, you let me know if you want to unload them Borbets. I lost the bidding battle for them and my VX is already shaved down to accomodate them since I already have a larger tire and deep dish wheels.
As Cyrk said, what size tire are you running? You can always go down to a lower profile and avoid many of the shaving issues, or, stick with a larger tire and shave, shave away. I shaved quite a bit just to fit mine. And yes, my VX did need anesthesia in order to take the sawzaw to her.![]()

hello. the tires are 265/60R18 110v (apparently, they're energized, as well).
so, the stocks are back on, as of this evening. quite a difference!
