SPAZZ: What I meant on the no tranny leakage was no drips underneath, no spots on the ground, no teary wet streaks collecting grime from the drain or fill plugs. And thanks for the offer on Grand Junction but I already passed thru there on Thursday night. My biggest problem there was finding an end to that interminable I-70 business loop and getting back on the highway after grabbing a burger.
VX: What your Murano dreams it could be...
Good deal...road-trippin' with mom.
I took my mom to Wisconsin in the VX a couple summers ago for a reunion.
Was one of the best times we've ever had together...she's in her early eighties now & even though there are some frustrations to be dealt with while traveling with an elderly parent,(or ANY parent,IMO) I'll never regret the experience.
Weasel dude, thanks for jogging a good memory from the cobwebs.

Great story and welcome to the best vehicle forum on the net, these guys can answer any question about our VX's. This forum has giving me a great piece of mind...

Thanks, Wyld, for a happy tale well-told! I, too, have great memories of road trips with my mom, including trips to the Four Corners area decades ago. She looooves her MDX, but maybe we'll trade driving...
How about we create a list of VehiCROSS.info "Certified Groovy" mechanics and dealers? Merlin and St. Charles Isuzu to start, Andy and Jack Miller Isuzu. and others as they're noted and extolled. Andy should probably get a VX.info mug or t-shirt:-)
Arrive home safely!

welcome to the headturning world of the proton! while all VX's are eye catching the proton stands out more! I love mine. On a side note my friends call it the "short bus" Do you think they are calling me mental?![]()
:_drool: It's all fun and games until it can't be fixed!
LOL, you aren't kidding about the Proton and turning heads. I managed to get into town in time to take the car over to my local mechanic to get it smogged (passed with flying colors!). While it was there, a guy came over to me and asked "Is that a 2006? Where can I buy one?" A few hours later, when the hunny was driving it, someone else came up and asked basically the same thing.
And of course one has to be mental to own an orphan like the VX. That's why I'm always looking around for the fellows in white coats and butterfly nets![]()
