insurance for our vx's

I paid around $70 a month for my VX with $500 ded but I'm over 40 and have at least one speeding ticket on my record at all times.

My 01 ML55 which cost $65K new costs LESS to insure! But then again it is a sub 6 second 5 door PUV

The VX's (when we had 2) each cost $105 per month. Full coverage, over 30, $500 deductable, 50/100k limits. Clean driving records.

This is LESS than my WRX, and the same as my M3. The only vehicle that cost me more to insure was my S14, and that was in New Jersey.

I assume that it's high because of the cost/availability of replacement body parts.
