    If the belt broke, it should freewheel. Also, there is a vacuum operated bypass valve that would allow airflow around the SC.

    Cool, thx Hotsauce...thats good to know. After I started thinking about it, it made since that nothing catastrophic should happen, but I am by no means a S/Cer genius. As for the belt itself, I have the part number, the store had to order it, and should be getting on tomorrow.
