    Just a small note

when I repacked the bearings on the trooper, I had the same problems with those three screws being frozen. I drenched them in PB Blaster about three times over the course of 24 hours, and when I tried them again, they came out with only a little effort.

Cool easy solution to 3 screws!

Hey everyone! I just changed out the other rotor (passenger side). found a simple solution to removing the retaining ring screws. A SCREW EXTRACTOR!!!
I bought the smallest size menards carried (once again i'm at work and don"t have the size in front of me but i'll post it later). It's a simple process drill a small starter hole in the head of the screw, use the screw extractor to back screw out. replace screws with new of original size when you reinstall! I will post the replacement screw size, and bit and extractor sizes when i get home tommarrow. the made the whole process of changing the rotor a snap, total time 45 min.
:_drool: It's all fun and games until it can't be fixed!

OK.. so you do have to take the bearings out to REPLACE the rotors... I was looking at them last night.. I can't see how you would ever get them off without doing the bearings.
