nope, not the alternator, it is infact an alternator, some dip**** put a generator sticker over the alternator label that looked real. Newho I did what you said and the car still runs when i disconnect the battery. thanks for the tip, I think it is the battery...

so it turned out to be the battery, I bought another red top optima battery and it seems to be workin fie, thanks for all the tips guys, i appreciate it.
