Waiting for tax money to roll in man. I would throw some green your way now but the money tree goes dormant in the winter.

Box looks great but how are you going to hide and protect all the wires? That size amp would fit behind the jack so you'd only have to run 12g wire through the stock boot. Hope you get some orders!

Thanks Tone. I have thought about that but I like the amp on top. I have a few ideas for running the wires. I am planning on making my own cover for the front and not using the stock cover. And where the amp is, just the front edge of the amp will be visible. I have also thought about flipping the amp upside down so the inside shows. What is your opinion on the price? What would your shop charge for a box like this? thanks shawn

I have often wondered why people run monster wires to far away places when you could just mount a dry cell Odessey battery near the amp/speaker and run a small chargeing wire.

Old school installation. I am the same way. I have enough wires in the back on my VX to make it look like a server closet.

One day, I too, will evolve.

Just seeing if there are any newbies that may be interested in this. The first 4 to order get $50 off. The cost would be $150 for carpeted or $100 for non carpeted.Plus actual shipping costs. shawn

awesome! if you had posted 2 weeks earlier i wouldve been all over it! but i decided building something into the door was not something i wanted to tackle on my own so i ended up building a box that fit across the rear cargo space

Wormgod, fedex will pick up your package Tuesday.

I have sold 2 total. That means there are only 2 orders left at the discount price. Then they will be $200 . shawn

    Shawn

i'm not a big audio nut, but this looks good/compact.
and 1 thing i have noticed in the vx is that a nice sound system definitely enhances, though not extremely important in my book.
however, if you still don't have any bites on the last two next month or so, i might be into trying one.

if i had to lug a spare though on a long drive, how difficult would it be to swap?
just simply unplug and take the box out right?

    thanks,
    cy
