Sorry to tell you that all the DAF's did not pass homologation!
Jan de Rooy is so furious now that he has said that he will build 15 Trucks of his own to his own specs. and that he will finnish 1st 2nd and 3rd next year.
The man from from FIA or simmilar that promissed to homologate the trucks for DAF did not come through and was on holliday can you believe it?
Anyway we have a reasonable amount of dutch drivers on motorcycle,cars and trucks. best ranking at the moment is hans stacey who is 3rd in the trucks ranking.

I bet Jan was ready to kill something. He has been doing the race for so long (Since 1982 I beleive) "De Rooy TRANSPORT". I bet PACCAR was also not too happy about that situation. It's amazing how one person can srcew up an entire race team effort....THERE SHOULD BE A LAW!
