TDC = Top Dead Center. One simple way is to remove the number 2 cylinder sparkplug and use a wooden dowel to "feel" the top of the piston. Using a wrench on the crankshaft rotate the engine until the piston is at it's highest point. Once you have it at TDC, then you align the rest of the timing marks while keeping the number 2 piston at TDC.Originally Posted by kpaske
