Ah well. No accounting for taste I guess. Admittedly, a person will see about four Jeeps, two Fords, two Chevy's, one Toyota, and three Dodges every couple of blocks they drive in this area.

I'd rather be cool and unusual.

Actually he doesn't say anything negative about the VX. Just states that they are rare (they are), aren't seen on the trail as much as the other models (true), and there is not a huge aftermarket for them (we all know that).
But, there has been a VX in Peterson's 4Wheel and off road...MINE! April 2005 readers rides

Agreed. I also read that as a VX

Maybe he's just mad because he isn't one of the lucky 7.

Yeah, that IS a snotty reply. I'm surprised that got into the magazine because it reflects so poorly on the publication. They have written pretty positive reviews on the VX in the past though, but even in those, it was clearly expressed that they hadn't expected much of the VX, but that it had surprised them. Anyway, that reply just shows a very poor grasp of what sells magazines and the VX's ability to do so.

That's the whole reason I bought the truck to begin with...It's different...it's not going to make any mag covers, because there aren't a million out there on the road.

There's a mainstream whore born everyday. Wonder how old HE is now

Now, granted, my VX doesnt see any offroad time, so I will let you all do the showing and proving. I think I have the concrete jungle under control though. Dont worry about that dept. Besides, I have Cyrk as a wingman on asphault. In all actuality, I think I would make a better wingman to HIM, heh.
