hood insert screw diameter

yeah i know it's a weird question...

my hood insert has lost a couple of screw nuts and is now catching wind and threatening to blow off and kill me...

i assume they are some metric deal, since i tried everything at home depot i could get my hands on and nothing worked.

anyone know where i could get some replacement nuts, short of mail ordering them through a dealer ?
