None taken, crager. It's called a "stick" stand. No one else around to hold it up and didn't want to lean it on my VX so I just broke a stick to the right size. Worked great.

Dtech...you do triathlons? Or just like tri bikes?
By the way...inside info tells me next year will be the last year you can buy softrides!

I've worked out for quite a while with a Triathlon club but haven't done one, yet. Would love to some day. I really have to work on my swimming though. I do love tri-bikes though. I did el Tour de Tucson once, down in your neck of the woods, back in '97 with Lance and 2500 other people. You guys know how to put on a bike event!!

I'm surprised the Softrides never really took off. They are the most comfortable tri-bike I've ever ridden. My other bike is a Vision R45 recumbent. Completely different leg workout.

Ah, the El Tour! I have done it 4or5 times but not anymore...there are way to many wrecks and thats my build up time for my early season Ironman (april 9 in 2006). The El Tour is expecting 7000 people this year...a bit more than when you did it!
